Essence is looking for a developer experienced with Python to work on a technologies used to automate and optimise our media purchasing. You would be joining a tight knit development team and will be working alongside other developers and product managers to solve complex technical problems while building and maintaining software applications.
Some of the things we'd like you to do:
Create, research and utilise machine learning to aid the businesses automation and predictive goals.
Write clean, well-designed and reusable code.
Be an engaged team member involved in every part of the software life cycle, from inception, through to delivery.
Skills & requirements
A bit about you:
3+ years of experience in Python.
Has used machine learning in a professional capacity.
Writes robust well tested code.
Has experience working with Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Jupyter, Keras, TensorFlow.
SQL / Database knowledge.
Great team player with strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
Passion for improving coding and development practices.
It would be great to see:
Experience of working with big data.
Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Passion for open-source software and contributing to the community.
Behaviour driven development.
Working with micro services.
Testing using Selenium .
Building and deploying python projects, Jenkins.
Async and asyncio.
Experience within the advertising / media agency space.
Working with the business sides of Adwords, DS3, DCM, facebook, twitter, linkedin.
