Truebill is an automated financial assistant that helps people optimize their finances without having to think about it. We are growing rapidly and are seeking a data-focused engineer to lead our data & machine learning efforts. We have a ton of data and want to use it to help people manage their finances. Wherever we can, we'll go a step further and automate financial management for people.
Our engineering team is currently 5 people. You will be the first data-focused hire at the company, and this will develop into a core competency of Truebill. That means you need to be confident that you can get the whole data operation setup and also help educate the rest of the team a bit. If you feel like you'd like to learn from more experienced ML engineers, this is probably not the role for you. We have amazing ML advisors and investors who we can lean on, and we have brilliant full-stack software engineers, but you will be leading the ML effort. You'll be making the architectural decisions, with buy-in from the team. Then you'll implement them, with support from the rest of the team.
