Veritone has developed a proprietary platform that unlocks the power of AI-based cognitive computing so that unstructured audio and video data can be processed, transformed and analyzed in a seamless, automated manner to generate actionable intelligence. The cloud-based open platform integrates an ecosystem of a variety of best-of-breed cognitive engines, which can be orchestrated together, to reveal valuable multivariate insights from vast amounts of audio and video data. Founded in 2014, Veritone has been recognized by some of the industry’s most prestigious forums, including the Red Herring Top 100 Award, the Edison Awards, and the SIIA Business Technology CODiE Award for Best Native Advertising Platform or Service.

Immediate need for a talented Machine Learning Software Engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience to join a quickly growing team with a vision on being the leader in AI worldwide.

Responsibilities:

Building best in class cognitive engines by leveraging advanced algorithms performing comprehensive analysis in near real-time.

Skills & requirements
Qualifications:

Master's from a top university in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Physics, Robotics, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.

Strong knowledge of AI Frameworks: Theano, Tensorflow, Keras, H2O.

Experienced with: Python, Java, R, SQL Familiarity with either Fortran-2008, C++, or Matlab.

Expert knowledge of the following machine learning algorithms: Deep Learning Neural Networks, NLU, Computer Vision, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and LSTM’S.

Experience creating preprocessors and exploratory data analysis.

Working with both Linux and Windows Operating Systems.

Having participated in and placing well in Kaggle competitions is ideal.

Excellent communication (written / verbal).
