Job description
Ensemble Energy is an advanced analytics startup focused on energy generation, transmission, and storage. We provide a platform for operators of energy assets to use their data to reduce costs and increase production. We are a team of engineers with many years of experience in energy and data analysis. We are looking to add to our team of data scientists to help solve the most exciting challenges in energy today.

Skills & requirements
MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fields. Specialization in machine learning preferred.

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms & principles (regression analysis, time series, probabilistic models, supervised classification and unsupervised learning), and their application.

Applied experience with Deep Learning algorithms such as Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks, and LSTM.

Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and strong experience in at least one of those.

Excellent programming skills in prototyping languages such as Python and R. Experience with Java and Scala is a plus.

Most importantly, a can-do attitude and desire to make a difference is an absolute must.
