Job description
As a Machine Learning Software Engineer, you will join our growing team of world-class engineers, statisticians, and clinical experts to deploy machine learning algorithms that improve oncology treatment and research. You will be tasked with finding the most promising opportunities for impact and then delivering on them. You will dig deep into our data, develop novel uses of machine learning, and help us scale our systems to handle our growing data sets. If you’re passionate about healthcare and technology, this is the opportunity to learn about how cancer is treated in the real world and how machine learning can be applied to improve it.


Build reliable and scalable production machine learning systems

Develop solutions that make a difference in patients’ lives

Skills & requirements
About you:

Hold a BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field

Have at least two years of experience building production systems that use machine learning

Understand experimental design and can build for collection, measurement, and interpretation of results

Have experience optimizing the performance, reliability, and scalability of systems

Love simple approaches to complex problems

Are enthusiastic about working on a multi-disciplinary team

Bonus points:

Hold a PhD in computer science or a related field

Have experience in natural language processing

Have experience working with clinical data

Have led or managed a team

Have published academic research in machine learning or contributed to an open-source machine learning software project
